Tyego Next Generation

Tyego Next Generation is the youth company and trainee program for the professional company. Dancers will rehearse repertoire, perform, and have new works created on them by the artistic team of Tyego Dance Project. Often these young dancers will perform side by side with the professional company. They have weekly company class and rehearsals 32-36 weeks a year. Several times a year, they will have master classes with dancers and former dancers from major dance companies such as the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and Alvin Ailey. Young dancers ages 10-18 from any dance school are encouraged to audition and train with TNG. Younger and/or less experienced dancers will begin in the TNG Trainee Program which has separate classes and rehearsals.. The Hyde Park School of Ballet is the official school of the company and trainee program. Dancers accepted into the program are required to take a minimum number of classes at the Hyde Park School of Ballet and attend weekly rehearsals for TNG. For a list of classes and fees associated with TNG please go to www.hydeparkschoolofballet.org. The next audition is scheduled for Friday September 15th from 6-8pm at the Hyde Park School of Ballet. There is a mandatory parent student meeting at 5:30pm preceding the audition.
